I ran a CAT 5 connection down to the basement where the E1000 is to be setup. 2. I hard reset the E1000 to factory defaults . 3. I connected my notebook to the E1000 via a LAN port. At this stage the E1000 is NOT on the network . 4. I configured the E1000 with an IP of 192.168.1.2 - my main router (E2000) is set to 192.168.1.1 and the IP Configuration for Linksys routers: E1200, E1500, E2500
